This Privacy Notice (“Notice”) applies to the Madis Coffee Roasters LLC (“Madis Coffee Roasters”) mobile application (Application”) and any site, or online service where these Terms are posted (collectively, the “Sites”). This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) outlines how the Sites collect, use, store, and protect user data. By using the Sites, users consent to the data practices described in this policy.

When you utilize the Madis Coffee Roasters Sites, your visit may involve the collection of the following categories of information:

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We may use your information for business purposes, including to provide the products and services you request, to perform customer service functions, for security and fraud prevention, for marketing and promotional purposes, and to perform analytics from the Sites. We may use the information we collect about you for:
(a) Providing Our Services: We may process your information when you access or use the Madis Coffee Roasters Sites. This includes:
- Processing and fulfilling orders and transactions;
- Managing and servicing accounts;
- Supporting and enhancing our loyalty program;

4. TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
We engage others to provide analytics, serve advertisements, and perform related services across the Sites. These entities may use cookies, web beacons, SDKs, device identifiers, and other technologies to collect information about your use of our services and other websites and mobile apps, including your IP address, web browser, mobile network information, pages viewed, time spent on pages or in mobile apps, links clicked, and conversion information. This information is used to deliver advertising targeted to your interests on other companies’ sites or mobile apps and to analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, and better understand your activity.
5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
In general, the third-party providers used by Madis Coffee Roasters will only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to Madis Coffee Roasters.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your Personal Information (e.g., name, address, and other contact information) will be handled by these providers.
In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or Madis Coffee Roasters. So, if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.
Once you leave the Sites and are redirected to a third-party application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our and Sites’ Terms of Use.
Platform:
Our store is hosted on FoodTec. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Payment:
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, Stripe may store your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by Madis Coffee Roasters and its service providers.
6. USER ACCESS TO INFORMATION RIGHTS
We may now or in the future provide a mechanism in order to help you confirm that some of your Personal Information remains correct and up-to-date. Such review process, if provided, will be available through a link on the Sites. In addition, if you make a request by contacting us using the methods described in section 13 of this Policy, we will provide a reasonable description of the Personal Information that we maintain.
7. OPT-OUT-RIGHT
You have the right at any time to cease permitting Personal Information to be collected, used, or disclosed by Madis Coffee Roasters and/or by any third parties with whom we have shared and/or transferred such Personal Information. Right of cancellation may be exercised by contacting us in accordance with the provisions of this Policy. After processing the cancellation, we will delete your Personal Information from our database.
8. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 enables California residents who are users to inquire about specific details concerning the sharing of personal information with third parties, encompassing our practices and the identities and addresses of businesses with whom we have shared your Personal Information for direct marketing purposes. 9. GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION (GDPR) RIGHTS
General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) permits users who are in the European Economic Area (“EEA”) or European Union (“EU”) and the United Kingdom (“UK”) to request certain information regarding the control, disclosure, and use of their personal information. In summary, those rights include rights to: fair processing of information and transparency over how we use your personal information, require us to provide you with information regarding the information that we have about you and how we use that information, require us to correct any mistakes in your information which we hold, require the erasure of personal information concerning you in certain situations, and object at any time to the processing, use, and automation of your data.

10. SECURITY
The safekeeping of your Personal Information is extremely important to us. We have measures in place by which we intend to prevent the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information that we obtain from you, including implementing various technical, administrative, electronic, and physical security measures designed to prevent Personal Information from being accidentally being used or accessed in an unauthorized way. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, there are no methods that can fully prevent a breach and we cannot be liable for unauthorized disclosure of Personal Information due to no fault of our own, including but not limited to, errors in transmission and unauthorized acts of our staff and third parties. In the event of a suspected data security breach, we will notify you and any applicable regulator where we are legally required to do so.
11. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
The Sites are not designed for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not intentionally gather, sell, or disclose information of individuals between the ages of 13 – 18. If you are a parent or guardian and suspect that we might have collected information about your child, please get in touch with us promptly using the details provided in section 13 of this Notice.
