Madis Coffee’s Kenya Peaberry – Light Roast
Rare by nature. Every coffee cherry typically produces two flat-sided beans...but occasionally, one bean develops alone, absorbing all the nutrients meant for two. That's a peaberry. And they make up just about 5% of any harvest.
This lot brings together peaberry selections from smallholder farmers across Murang'a County, grown at 1,600–1,800 masl in the fertile highlands of central Kenya. Because peaberries can't be cultivated in isolation, they're a natural anomaly, sorted by hand from the rest of the harvest, every bag represents the work of many farmers and a lot of careful selection.

Brown sugar, green apple, orange, pear. Soft fruity acidity and a smooth, approachable finish.
